NINA ELYAS
Nina Elyas is a fashion journalist, editor and fashion communication professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the international fashion industry. She is co-founder and editor of Style and the Gang, responsible for partnerships, editorial direction, content development and strategic positioning.
She holds a Diploma in Fashion Design and gained early experience at international trend agencies including Promostyl (Paris) and Trendfocus (Cologne), as well as through her journalistic training at TM and JNC Magazines. She worked as Fashion Director and editor for international trade publications such as Fashion Trends, TM and JNC Magazine, and as freelance editor for Fashion Today Men, alongside projects in trend analysis and PR for fashion brands.
She worked as Fashion Director and Editor-in-Chief at the German Fashion Institute, where she headed the international trend board and was responsible for the development of industry publications and trend books. Her role included public speaking and moderation at industry events.
For 8 years she taught Fashion Journalism and Communication (B.A.) at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design, with a focus on journalism and trend analysis, including the supervision and evaluation of bachelor theses.
Today, her work focuses on editorial development, content strategy, trend research and forecasting, as well as the creation of industry publications and communication formats, combined with public speaking, media work and academic teaching.
TAYS KÖPER-KELEMEN
Tays Köper-Kelemen is a fashion journalist, trained fashion editor and stylist with a strong background in editorial work, menswear and brand communication. She is co-founder and editor of Style and the Gang, responsible for partnerships, editorial direction, content development and strategic positioning.
She holds a Magistra Artium degree in French, Spanish and Marketing.
She previously worked as an editor at Textilmitteilungen, where she was responsible for menswear and accessories and covered international fashion weeks in Berlin, Milan and Paris. She also contributed to the development of the international trend book series Fashion Trends.
Her work includes styling, production and creative collaboration for fashion shoots in both editorial and commercial contexts, including Fashion Today, TM, Imotex and fashion companies.
She has worked as a copywriter and author for brands.
Her early career includes journalistic training at 1st.blue.de.
Her work focuses on editorial storytelling, menswear expertise, brand communication and positioning, as well as translating fashion into visual and commercial contexts.
